Netflix has announced its German sci-fi/horror drama, Dark, will be a trilogy. It will have three cycles, very fitting for the time-circular mystery centered around three different timelines. The German-language sleeper hit has been popular with fans and critics alike and we’re no exception.

The series opens with the disappearance of two boys–one in the present, one in the past–and sends viewers on a mind-bending journey through three generations of family drama. There is no telling what will happen next and audiences can’t wait for the next installment.

There is plenty of time to binge (or re-watch) Cycle One before Cycle Two premieres on Netflix June 21 with Cycle Three to come in 2020. You can view the Cycle Two trailer here.
