‘The Chef Show’ Teases Good Food and Interesting People
Jon Favreau wrote, directed, and starred in the 2014 comedy/drama Chef, a warm movie about a chef who had lost his way working in a fancy restaurant, and got his creativity and love for food back when he started up a food truck with the help of his son and an old colleague. To prepare for the role, he took lessons from chef Roy Choi, one of the creators of the gourmet food truck movement.
Now — five years later — the duo is back with a new show coming to Netflix, where Favreau and Choi cook for a bunch of Favreau’s friends.
There’s a pretty big chance you’ll recognize these “friends”, since most of them are involved with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some way. In the trailer you can spot Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon, Robert Downey Jr., The Russo brothers, Kevin Feige, and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Check out the trailer for The Chef Show, coming to Netflix on June 7.
