‘Sailor Moon’ Musical Coming to the U.S. in 2019

Since the 90’s Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, and their two talking cats Luna and Artemis have been a phenomenon. Usagi Tsukino/Serena has brought Sailor Moon to life in manga, anime series, three films, live-action, and now in a live-action musical featuring the heroine and the Sailor Scouts.

The official Sailor Moon website announced that the show titled, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Super Live will be coming to the United States in March 2019. The musical will visit Washington D.C. and New York City, the dates, venues and when tickets will be available for purchase are not yet known.

IMDB has Sailor Moon summary as:

“The magical action-adventures of a teenage girl who learns of her destiny as the legendary warrior Sailor Moon and must band together with the other Sailor Soldiers to defend the Earth and Galaxy. “
