So far in 2018 there has been some fantastic games released, and that shows no sign of slowing down for the last month of the year. Regardless of the platform you use, Play Station 4 (PS4), Xbox One (XBO), Nintendo Switch (NS), Computer (PC) etc. there is a game for you to enjoy next month.
To keep track of the video games being released, here is a list of anticipated video games being released in December.
December 4
Just Cause 4 (PC, PS4, Xbox One)
This is the fourth game in the series and is the sequel to Just Cause 3. The player plays as Rico Rodriguez in a fictional South American place called Solis. Rico is on a mission to find answers when he learns his father worked with the Black Hand, a mercenary group to a dictator from Just Cause 1 and Sebastiano Di Ravello from Just Cause 3.
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden (PC, PS4, Xbox One)
Each character has their own personality and skills you can choose from, including a mutant duck called Dux, a boar called Bormin, and other mutants. One place the player goes is a scrap yard filled with car wrecks where you can find scraps to build weapons to fight ghouls and other enemies. But remember, stealth is key.
Override: Mech City Brawl (PC, PS4, Xbox One)
The player can choose a mechanical character to battle and destroy in a one-on-one fight in a 3D arena that looks like actual cities and countries. Each character has their own weapons and style that you can customize in the garage. No gears. No glory
December 6
Jagged Alliance: Rage (PC, PS4, Xbox One)
This game is set 20 years after the first game, the player is in a jungle where they are tested at every turn. The player doesn’t have many allies and is basically on their own against mercenaries on a drug overloads island. Do you have what it takes?
December 7
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch)
In this crossover fighting game, players can choose from multiple characters from different games like Pikachu, Princess Daisy, King K. Rool from Donkey Kong and 74 characters in total. Once the player has chosen a character you try to fight and win in an arena.
December 11
Earth Defence Force: 5 (PS4)
In the year 2022, the player becomes a private citizen that was accidentally inside base 228. Joining the battle against aliens, bugs, and other obstacles the player becomes a soldier who has to protect Earth.
