If you were at Creation Entertainment’s Salute to Supernatural convention in Charlotte this weekend, you might have heard when Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Rob Benedict, Rachel Miner, and Jason Manns announced that they’ve been training for a marathon.

They collectively dubbed the idea “The Bad Idea Tour” and there weren’t many details announced at the time, but now we can fill in some blanks!

Jared, Jensen, Misha, Rob, Rachel, and Jason will be running in the Seattle Marathon as part of Random Acts’ Endure 4 Kindness (E4K) event! According to the website, the Bad Idea Tour will take place on November 25th during the E4K, which runs from November 22-25th.

In the description from the Crowdrise website, it tells us a little bit more about what The Bad Idea Tour entails:

The Supernatural cast had a really bad idea… for a good cause.

We have decided to run 26.2 miles to raise funds to help fight childhood hunger!

Random Acts’ Endure 4 Kindness (E4K) fundraiser is about going the distance to affect change, so on November 25, our team (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Rob Benedict, Jason Manns, Rachel Miner, and maybe some of our spouses) will run the Seattle Marathon to support kids in need!

All over the globe, too many kids go hungry. In the US alone, 1 in 6 kids don’t know where their next meal is coming from. This fundraiser will focus on helping feed kids in many of the poorest areas in the US and around the world.

We’ll endure 26.2 miles of aching muscles to try to make a small difference. We may end up carrying each other, but it’s your support that will get us over the finish line… So donate now and help our “bad idea” do as much good as possible!

You can donate directly here to support some of our favorite people and a really great cause, or if you’d rather, check out the E4K Website to sign up to raise your own funds for Random Acts!
