‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Release Date Pushed

The next round of movie delays is picking up, and among them is Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the sequel to the 2018 film Venom. The movie will now release on September 17, 2021, moving from its most recent date of June 25.

Venom 2 will see Tom Hardy reprising his role as Eddie Brock/Venom, as well as the return of Michelle Williams as Anne. The sequel will also star Woody Harrelson, Naomie Harris, and Reid Scott. Andy Serkis directs the screenplay written by Kelly Marcel.

Venom follows former reporter Eddie Brock, who, after losing his job, soon comes into contact with an alien symbiote. As Eddie and the symbiote bond, the two face off against a greater enemy looking to destroy everything in its path.
