Tom Hardy has lined up his next role in the Neflix action-thriller Havoc from The Raid director Gareth Evans. Deadline was first to report the news.

Hardy will play a detective navigating the web of corruption in his city to save a politician’s estranged son. He will also produce the film alongside Evans, who will write and direct.

Evans’ most recent work is Apostle for Netflix, starring Dan Stevens. Hardy can be seen reprising his role as Eddie Brock in the upcoming Venom sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage and The Things They Carried with Pete Davidson and Stephan James.

Evans has inked a deal with Netflix to pen multiple action films over the next few years, solidifying Netflix’s attempt to ramp up their original action films. Havoc will join the Chris Evans-Ryan Gosling led The Gray Man, as well as an Extraction sequel, both from the Russo Brothers.
