Grab your cowboy hats and saddle up, Walker fans. In anticipation for the show’s upcoming premiere, more guest stars and cast members are being announced, with more likely to follow. Among the recent announcements is the arrival of Matt Barr, known for guest starring and recurring in several shows and movies such as Sleepy Hollow, Castle, One Tree Hill, Ten Inch Hero, Friday Night Lights, and The Layover, to name a few. According to Entertainment Weekly, Barr will portray Hoyt, Cordell Walker’s (Jared Padalecki) best friend. It may not be all sunshine and rainbows for these old pal cowboys, as they will find themselves at odds and at opposite ends of the law.

Joining Jared Padalecki and Matt Barr in Walker will be Keegan Allen (Pretty Little Liars) portraying Walker’s brother, Odette Annable (Supergirl) playing an old pal of Walker’s, and Lindsey Morgan (The 100) as Walker’s partner. Last but certainly not least is Genevieve Padalecki, Jared Padalecki’s wonderfully talented wife, who will play Cordell Walker’s late wife in flashbacks.

Make sure to catch the premiere Walker when it comes to town on January 21 on The CW.
