Bill & Ted fans, you’re in luck! Bill & Ted Face the Music was scheduled to release on demand and in select theaters on September 1, but Alex Winter (Bill S. Preston) has announced on Twitter that the film will once again be available in the U.S. on August 28. Winter also promises that information regarding international release dates is coming soon (get your air guitars ready!).
Bill & Ted Face the Music follows Bill S. Preston (Alex Winter) and Theodore “Ted” Logan (Keanu Reeves) as they once again attempt to fulfill their rock and roll destiny. Now middle-aged men with daughters, Thea Preston (Samara Weaving) and Billie Logan (Brigette Lundy-Paine), the best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future tells them that only their song can save life as we know it, along with the help of their daughters, historical figures, and music legends they seek the song that will bring harmony to the universe. The film is directed by Dean Parisot and written by co-creators Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson.
