On this week’s episode of Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, Rosenbaum talks with Stephen Amell about his new show Heels, mental health, tabloid stories and more:

Good friend of the show Stephen Amell (‘Arrow,’ ‘Heels’) joins us this week to drop some bombs once again. We not only discuss his brand new show Heels and how he feels about his legacy of being the Arrow, but Stephen also takes time to set the record straight about some recent tabloid stories that have come out about him. We get into Stephen’s current experience with panic attacks and stress, how he handles nerves heading into new projects, and how different this show is with relation to Stephen’s partnership with its direction.

Stephen Amell is currently starring on the show Heels where he plays Jack Spade.

On his podcast, Michael Rosenbaum interviews friends and fellow artists about work and life experiences, mental health, relationships and more. Previous guests include Andie McDowell, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Sophia Bush, and Charisma Carpenter.

‘What We Do in the Shadows’ Star Harvey Guillén to Host ‘After The Shadows’ on FX

Harvey Guillén, who plays Guillermo de la Cruz, Nador’s (Kayvan Novak) loyal familiar-turned-badass vampire hunter, has announced via Twitter that he will be hosting a talk show titled After The Shadows. Guillén will sit down with special guests to discuss What We Do in the Shadows after each episode airs.

Based on the 2014 mockumentary of the same name by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, the FX original series gives a comedic look into the nightly lives of four vampires who have lived together for 100 years. Now, the vampire roommates live in Staten Island with hopes of taking over the United States while adjusting to modern life.

In the upcoming third season of What We Do in the Shadows, the vampires will encounter more supernatural creatures, get an upgrade in their powers, and finally come face-to-face with the fact that Guillermo is a vampire hunter. Watch the season 3 trailer below.

After The Shadows will premiere right after the season 3 premiere of What We Do in the Shadows on September 2 on FX.

‘Supergirl’: Season 6, Episode 11 “Mxy in the Middle” Description

A new description has been unearthed for “Mxy in the Middle,” the upcoming eleventh episode of Supergirl season 6. Check it out below.

THOMAS LENNON RETURNS AS MR. MXYZPTLK – Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and team must stop Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) from vanquishing a familiar face from Supergirl’s past – Mr. Mxyzptlk (guest star Thomas Lennon). Mxy returns and explains Nyxly’s dark history to the super team in the best way he knows how – in song form. Meanwhile, Lena (Katie McGrath) visits her mother’s birthplace in Newfoundland, eager to dig into her past but is shocked by the small town’s icy reception towards her. The episode was directed by Glen Winter with story by Rob Wright and teleplay by Elle Lipson & Chandler Smidt (#611). Original airdate 9/14/2021.

Photos have not yet been released for this episode, but they are sure to follow behind the description before “Mxy in the Middle” airs on September 14.

UPSAHL’s New Single “Lunatic” Available for Pre-Save Now!

Up-and-coming alternative artist UPSAHL has announced their next single, “Lunatic”, is now available for pre-save! This will be the fourth single she has released this year in anticipation of her debut album, which will drop in October.

Talking about “Lunatic” and her previous single “Time of my Life” on Discord, UPSAHL said:

“If you guys can give Lunatic the same amount of love [as “Time of my Life”] I’ll cry and be really happy. I’m so excited … Lunatic is my next single that is coming out in a couple weeks … it’s very intense … ”

UPSAHL’s first single, “Douchebag,” came on May 14. It describes the start of her story, written when she was going through a messy breakup and facing the difficult reality of a very final ending. Her second single, “Melatonin,” was dropped on June 11, the inspiration of which she described as “… being so overwhelmed with your emotions that you can’t even escape your problems in your dreams.”  The third single, “Time of my Life,” was released on July 30, and is currently UPSAHL’s most popular song of the three singles. It explores the contradicting emotions a person experiences when they have both the best and worse times of their lives occur simultaneously.

Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke to Star in Apple Original Film ‘Raymond and Ray’

Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke are heading to screen together as half brothers in the Apple Original Film Raymond and Ray.

Telling the story of the duo as they deal with the death of their terrible father, Raymond and Ray follows the brothers as they reinvent themselves. Maintaining their sense of humor, there’s anger, pain, folly, maybe some love, and definitely some grave-digging.

McGregor is a four-time Primetime Emmy nominee, currently nominated for Lead Actor in the Limited Series category for his title role in Netflix’s Halston. However, you may know him from his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars films, a role he will reprise in the upcoming Disney+/Lucasfilm series.

Hawke is a four-time Oscar nominee for Boyhood (Supporting Actor), Before Midnight (Adapted Screenplay), Before Sunset (Adapted Screenplay), and Training Day (Supporting Actor). You can also catch him in upcoming films Knives Out 2 and The Black Phone among others.

The film will be written and directed by Rodrigo García (In Treatment, Albert Nobbs) and produced by Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón (Gravity and Roma), Bonnie Curtis (Saving Private Ryan, Albert Nobbs), and Julie Lynn (Albert Nobbs, To the Bone). Gabriela Rodriguez and Shea Kammer serve as executive producers.

Raymond and Ray is the latest in an outstanding lineup from Apple Original Films. Joining the likes of Sundance Pickup CODA; Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro; Finch, the latest film starring Tom Hanks; upcoming YA adaptation The Sky is Everywhere, directed by Josephine Decker and starring Grace Kaufman, Cherry Jones, and Jason Segel; and more.

‘Nancy Drew’: First Trailer Released for Season 3!

Well Nancy Drew fans, the wait is over. The CW has released the long-awaited first trailer for season 3 of Nancy Drew!

When we last left our favorite super sleuth, Nancy was getting a knock on the door from none other than her reincarnated ancestor Temperance Hudson after the barrier preventing her from returning to Horseshoe Bay was lifted. The new teaser promises more horror, witty banter, and drama for our favorite Drew Crew.

Misha Collins Begins Filming Traveling PBS Cooking Show

Misha Collins has thrown lots of irons into the fire since Supernatural‘s end, from his new poetry collection releasing in October (make sure to check out the cover as well as our review) to his upcoming role in Encounter, set to premiere at TIFF, to his lead role on the podcast Bridgewater. One of these many new projects he’s involved with includes something only previously alluded to: a traveling cooking show comparable to Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown (but in the USA). It seems that the cooking show has now begun filming!

Whispers of the PBS production have abounded for months. However, Collins confirmed the existence of the show at Planet Comicon Kansas City. This occurred at a solo panel, with Collins announcing it was to begin filming the following week. Photos from one of the restaurant spots featuring on the show also recently came to light on Twitter, signaling that filming has begun.

The name and official premiere date of Misha Collins’ cooking show have not been released to the public. As always, stay tuned for more updates as they become available.

‘Riverdale’: New Description Released for Season 5, Episode 16 “Chapter Ninety-Two: Band of Brothers”

The CW has released the description for the 16th episode of Riverdale‘s fifth season, “Chapter Ninety-Two: Band of Brothers.” In the episode, Archie opens up to Uncle Frank about his time in the Army, Veronica tries to raise funds no thanks to Chad, Cheryl, and Kevin team up and Jughead heads out on an apology tour. The episode is also once again directed by Robin Givens, known most to Riverdale fans as Sierra McCoy.

The full description for “Chapter Ninety-Two: Band of Brothers” reads:

“GHOSTS FROM ARCHIE’S PAST — After hearing some unexpected news about his former commanding officer, Archie (KJ Apa) opens up to Uncle Frank (guest star Ryan Robbins) about his time in the Army. Veronica (Camila Mendes) comes up with a clever way to raise funds after Chad (guest star Chris Mason) calls the SEC on her. Finally, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) and Kevin (Casey Cott) attempt to take control of the ministry, and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) goes on an apology tour. Lili Reinhart, Mädchen Amick, Mark Consuelos, Charles Melton and Erinn Westbrook also star. Robin Givens directed the episode written by Janine Salinas Schoenberg (#516). Original airdate 9/15/2021.”
