‘A.P. Bio’ Canceled at Peacock After Four Seasons

0

It looks like Mr. Griffin’s unpredictably chaotic classroom won’t be back in session for another season — A.P. Bio has officially been canceled (again) by Peacock after four seasons.

A.P. Bio follows the story of disgraced Harvard philosophy scholar Jack Griffin, who loses out on his dream job and is forced to return to Toledo, Ohio to work as a high school Advanced Placement biology teacher. As he comes crashing in to Whitlock High School, Jack makes it absolutely clear he will not be teaching any biology. Realizing he has a room full of honor roll students at his disposal, Jack decides instead to use the kids for his own benefit. Eager to prove that he is still king of the castle, Principal Durbin struggles to control the force of nature that is Jack Griffin.

The series stars It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Glenn Howerton, Patton Oswalt, Lyric Lewis, Mary Sohn, Jean Villepique, Aparna Brielle, Nick Peine, Eddie Leavy, Allisyn Snyder, Jacob Houston, Sari Arambulo, and more.

Series creator Mike O’Brien shared the news on Twitter, remarking, “This show has been one of the best experiences of my life and that’s because of the hundreds of hilarious, hard-working, positive people that were involved.”

A.P. Bio originally aired on NBC, and it was cancelled after two seasons. The decision was later reversed and the show was renewed for season 3, moving to NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock. Season 4 premiered this past September.

Seasons 1 to 3 of A.P. Bio are now streaming free on Peacock, and season 4 is available to Peacock Premium subscribers.

‘The Matrix Resurrections’ Trailer Reveals New Look for Jada Pinkett Smith’s Niobe

0

Warner Bros. released a new trailer for The Matrix Resurrections, and it reintroduces a familiar character played by Jada Pinkett Smith.

The latest trailer for the film comes after the announcement of The Matrix Awakens, an interactive tech demo from Unreal Engine 5.

In The Matrix Resurrections from Lana Wachowski, Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne-Moss reprise their roles as the iconic Neo/Thomas Anderson and Trinity/Tiffany.

Thomas will once again choose to go down the rabbit hole once again to distinguish if his reality is a physical or mental construct. Of course, there’s only one safe way out of the Matrix. This Matrix, however, is stronger and more dangerous than ever. The trailer reveals the return of Pinkett Smith’s Niobe, now much older. She now oversees the welfare of her people, despite a sense of disbelief and suspicion upon Neo’s return.

The Matrix Resurrections cast also includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Morpheus, Jessica Henwick as Bugs, Jonathan Groff as Thomas Anderson’s business partner, Neil Patrick Harris as Thomas’ therapist, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas as a young woman with a wisdom that belies her years and an ability to see the truth, no matter how murky the waters.

The Matrix Resurrections opens in theaters and on HBO Max on December 22.
