Matt Cohen just dropped huge news – he released the teaser trailer for Mama Bear! The short, which was shot back in November, is directed by Matt and stars Mandy Musgrave, Adam Fergus, Richard Speight, Jr., Kim Rhodes, Briana Buckmaster, Gabriel Tigerman, Jim Beaver and more.
Mama Bear is about a mother who “has 24 hours to save her four year old and find him a liver transplant, and the only viable donor is the ex-kingpin/drug lord/piece of s*** boyfriend of hers.”
We got the chance to talk to Matt back in December, where he talks about Mama Bear. You can see that here.
You can also see our interview with Matt from October, and how excited he is about the project. You can see that here.
Hercules is “going the distance” as the classic 1997 Disney movie is headed to the stage this summer! Public Theatre announced that it’s bringing the production to Central Park, for free!
This is a 57 year tradition as apart of Shakespeare in the Park. Guests will be able to enjoy their favorite musical moments, as well as new music composed by the one and only Alan Menken and David Zippel. The musical will also feature brand new choreography by Chase Brock, and a brand new book by Kristoffer Diaz according to director Lear deBessonet.
We’re excited to see how this Public Works production will uncover the deeper meaning of what it means to be a hero and how true strength is derived, not from the greatness of one person, but the transformative power of community.”
The show is set to run from August 31 through September 8,2019. Check out Public Theater’s website for ticketing and other show information.

At the beginning of 2019, charity retailer Stands announced the Embracelet, a year-long campaign featuring a charm bracelet and various charms designed by either Stands or Supernatural cast members. So far, the charms have included a limited edition blue tie designed by Misha Collins, an angel blade, and Baby’s Kansas license plate. Richard Speight, Jr. took to his Twitter today to reveal his charm: a VHS of Casa Erotica, a nod to the infamous video at the end of Supernatural’s fifth season episode “Hammer of the Gods.”
When #SPN first started 300 episodes ago, the only way to record it was VHS. So I present to you my #embracelet charm, an homage to two classic professions: SPN and porn. (But for diehard fans, aren’t they one and the same?) https://t.co/bJZZM82rwfpic.twitter.com/OTgK7QZNR5
Speight’s limited edition charm is available now at shopstands.com for $20. Proceeds from this campaign benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Pick yours up today!

David Haydn-Jones (Supernatural, A Bramble House Christmas) stars alongside Jodie Sweetin (Full House, Fuller House) in the upcoming movie Love Under The Rainbow. According to It’s A Wonderful Movie, Love Under The Rainbow will air on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at 8/7c.

According to Johnson Production Group on YouTube, the summary of Love Under the Rainbow is as follows:
Do you believe in fate? For Lucy Newbern, ever since she was young, she’s had a book of her dream man and dream family all planned out – except now, she’s a single 3rd grade teacher who spends all her free time pining over Max Peters, a guy who just doesn’t get her… Ever heard of unrequited love? Yeah, Lucy has, too. Enter single father, Jack Evans, a new doctor in town, and his optimistic daughter, Sophie, a new student in Lucy’s class. Jack promised Sophie by moving to the rainiest town in America, they would finally have time to chase real rainbows, as she’s always dreamed, except being a busy doctor, nothing has changed. Lucy suggests Sophie create rainbows for the school science fair. If they win, they get a class field trip…chasing real rainbows!
When Sophie wins the science fair and doesn’t find a real pot of gold, we discover her secret – she just wants a real family. Sophie believed her mom, who crossed the rainbow bridge, would be on the other side and that would make her dad happy. Lucy helps Sophie and Jack see the real pot of gold: That maybe the rainbow has been pointing them to each other all along; a second chance at a family.
In an Instagram post by one of the stars of the movie, David Haydn-Jones, he promised “You’ll fall in love with my daughter, @dakotaguppy.” and it certainly looks that way based on the trailer.
The trailer is available to watch directly on Johnson Production Group’s YouTube channel, but you can also check it out below. It seems like this movie is going to require a big box of tissues, and combined with the comedic acting both Haydn-Jones and Sweetin have on their resumes, this is almost guaranteed to be a romantic comedy you’ll want to watch over and over.
Make sure to tune into the premiere of Love Under The Rainbow airing March 9, 2019, on the Hallmark Channel.
