It has been just a little over 18 years since The Fast and the Furious first graced our screens. Since then, we have seen spin-offs, and we are patiently waiting on the ninth installment. It is impressive for sure and still expanding. It was recently announced that an animated series, Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, will premiere on Netflix on December 26.
Courtesy of DreamWorks Animation and Netflix
Animated by DreamWorks Animation, the series will star Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) as Tony, Vin Diesel’s iconic character Dominic Toretto’s cousin. Speaking of Vin Diesel, the series will stay in the family not just on-screen, but off-screen as well. Diesel’s daughter, Similce Diesel, will play Sissy, the younger sister of Frostee Benson (Luke Youngblood). Also, what is Fast & Furious without a crew? Joining Tony and Frostee are Layla Gray (Camille Ramsey), Echo (Charlet Chung), Cisco Renaldo (Jorge Diaz), and Shashi Dhar (Manish Dayal).
This will be the perfect series to hold us over as we wait for Fast & Furious 9 to arrive in theatres on May 22, 2020, and also to let a younger generation enjoy a part of our favorite racing movies. Make it a family affair on December 26 on Netflix when all episodes of Fast & Furious: Spy Racers arrive!
Exciting news for Supernatural fans! After a tough semi-final round with many great contenders, Misha and Vicki Collin’s cookbook The Adventurous Eaters Club: Mastering the Art of Family Mealtime has made it to the final round in Goodreads Choice Awards 2019! They are up against some heavy hitters in the “Food & Cookbooks” category, like Antoni Porowski’s Antoni in the Kitchen and Rachael Ray’s Rachael Ray 50: Memories and Meals from a Sweet and Savory Life.

The entirety of the awards is reader-based, meaning readers themselves can vote for their favorites in fiction, non-fiction, young adult, children, and even graphic novel categories. The awards also celebrate new writers with a “Debut Novel” category!
The final round will end on December 2, so be sure to get your votes in. We will find out who won December 10, and hopefully, we will see Misha’s name there!
A newbie last year, Left On Laurel (consisting of Michael Rosenbaum, Tom Lally, Carl McDowell, Rob Danson and Kent Irwin) returned to Rockwood Music Festival in 2019 with a brand new album having just been released. The band that formed with to encouragement from Jason Manns, has gained a big fanbase not only at the festival, but in other places as well.
In our interview, the band members share their favorite moments from Rockwood so far, what they particularly enjoy about the festival and also what lessons they have learned whilst recording their debut album. Furthermore, they share their favorite songs to play live and give some details about their band history and what their hopes and plans for the future are.
Big news for our favorite Irish singer! It was just announced that Niall will be the musical guest on NBC’s Saturday Night Live on December 14. The host for that night will be Scarlett Johansson.
This is a huge opportunity for Horan, who previously performed as the musical guest as part of One Direction. Horan’s 1D bandmate, Harry Styles, most recently was the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live on November 16.

While we’re 99.9% positive one of the songs Horan will play is “Nice To Meet Ya”, we can only hope that another new song will also make it’s debut.
Tune into Saturday Night Live on Saturday, December 14.
Next in our series of exclusive interviews is the one and only Jason Manns. Jason has been part of the “Rockwood family” for a long time. He played his first concert in Germany almost ten years ago and has since then been working closely with Rockwood owner and manager Sabine Eickmann. Jason, Sabine and her team have been putting on the Rockwood Music Festival for five years now, and it has grown every year since then.
In his interview, Jason Manns talks about his own history with Rockwood, the German and European fans, and most importantly about working with all the different artists who have been part of the festival for so many years. Watch our interview to see Jason’s passion about this event and hear about some of his favorite moments and collaborations!

Another interview in our Rockwood series features the two singer-songwriters Hayden Lee and Paul Carella. Both Hayden and Paul have been part of the festival since its first year in 2015, and they both have been an integral part of the community and fandom that has formed around it.
In their interview they talk about what it is like to experience the festival with its “convention elements” like photo ops and autographs sessions as someone who is not usually working in this field. They present a perspective of two performers who have been exposed to a larger audience thanks to this festival and who have found a new fanbase and other musicians to collaborate with by performing here. Watch the interview below to also hear about their respective new records and their favorite parts about their joint tour in the summer 2019.
