Another interview in our Rockwood series features the two singer-songwriters Hayden Lee and Paul Carella. Both Hayden and Paul have been part of the festival since its first year in 2015, and they both have been an integral part of the community and fandom that has formed around it.
In their interview they talk about what it is like to experience the festival with its “convention elements” like photo ops and autographs sessions as someone who is not usually working in this field. They present a perspective of two performers who have been exposed to a larger audience thanks to this festival and who have found a new fanbase and other musicians to collaborate with by performing here. Conny joined her first fandom at the tender age of three and somehow never stopped finding new things to obsess about and love.
