Deadline is reporting that Joaquin Phoenix has been cast in Ari Aster’s upcoming Disappointment Blvd. For months, rumors have been swirling that Phoenix and Aster would be teaming up for a project, and we are finally beginning to learn a little bit more. At this time, little is known about the film as plot details are being kept mostly under wraps, but it is described as “an intimate, decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time.”

It is also being reported that A24 will produce and finance, and with the magic that Aster and A24 have made in the past with Hereditary and Midsommar, we can’t wait to see Phoenix in his first film post Oscar win.

Phoenix is set to star in C’mon C’mon as Johnny and Kitbag as Napoleon Bonaparte. You can see Phoenix in two of his most recent projects, Joker (now streaming on HBO) and Guardians of Life.

A New Clip From ‘WandaVision’ Episode 7 Teases the Downfall of Westview

WandaVision is gearing up for its final three episodes, and Disney+ has released a new teaser for its 2000/2010 era episode ahead of its Friday release.

Featuring a very Modern Family vibe, Wanda and the twins, Tommy and Billy, are having a rough time in Westview as things start to unravel. The boys’ video games change to different consoles and then finally to cards, and Billy can’t stop the noise in his head (remember, his powers are very similar to Wanda’s …). At least she’s finally come to terms with it …

A new episode of WandaVision will release Friday, February 19 exclusively on Disney+.

Hide Your Dolphins — ‘The Boys’ The Deep Funko Pop! Revealed

Another devious member of The Seven has joined the lineup of Funko Pop! figures from the hit Amazon Prime Video series The Boys.

The latest Supe to be forever immortalized in beady-eyed vinyl is Kevin Moskowitz, aka The Deep. Portrayed by Chace Crawford, The Deep can breathe underwater and communicate with sea creatures. After his rant at the end of season 2 — “F*ck Fresca” — it remains to be seen where he will find himself in season 3 after his entanglement with the Church of the Collective.

The Deep’s Funko Pop! figure was revealed today as a part of Funko’s Virtual Con. Check it out below.

Funko

This figure will be limited edition and exclusive to Funko’s Virtual Con. Funko Virtual Con Spring 2021 will take place March 1-5. Go here for more information on how to shop this event.

Meanwhile, we’ll be waiting on a Chase variant with singing gills set to the tune of “You Are So Beautiful” … or perhaps a new addition to the Television Moments series with Lucy the whale (RIP).

The Boys, which is based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, is set in a world where superheroes exist. That’s all fine and dandy, barring the fact that most of them are dicks (with less than savory agendas). The Seven are an especially devious group of celebrity Supes working under the villainous corporation Vought International. The Boys, on the other hand, are a group of vigilantes fighting to take them all down once and for all — risking their lives constantly in the process.

Season 3 of The Boys is currently in production and a release date has not yet been announced. Stream seasons 1 and 2 now, only on Amazon Prime.
