In the sneak peek, Archie asks Cheryl for money to help fund the football team but she tells him she’s already done her part for the school, and “at a great personal cost.” Archie brings up the fact that her brother was a Bulldog and he thought that she might want to honor it. That crossed a line for Cheryl, upset that Archie brought up Jason, telling him to leave and never come back to Thornhill.

It’s official — season 3 of Amazon Prime Video’s diabolically twisted television series The Boys is underway.
The Boys, which is based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, is set in a world where superheroes exist. This isn’t the happy story about saving the day that we’re all used to, though, because these Supes … well, they’re dicks. Though they’re not all terrible, many Supes abuse their powers for their own self-gain and nefarious plans. Some of the worst can be found amongst The Seven, a group working under the villainous corporation Vought International. The Boys, meanwhile, are a ragtag group of vigilantes risking their lives to take down the Supes and Vought once and for all. The show’s epic and bloody second season concluded last October.
Some of the cast and crew took to social media today to announce that production on season 3 — which takes place in Canada in and around Toronto, Ontario — has begun.
Though the plot of season 3 is relatively unknown at this point, we do know that Supernatural‘s Jensen Ackles has joined the cast to portray the original superhero, Soldier Boy. The name of the first episode has been confirmed to be “Payback,” a team from the comics that we’ll likely explore on-screen in season 3, which consists of members such as Soldier Boy, Stormfront, Eagle the Archer, Tek Knight, Swatto, Crimson Countess, and Mind-Droid. Additionally, Colby Minifie and Claudia Doumit — who portray Ashley Barrett and Victoria Neuman, respectively — were promoted to series regulars for the third season.
An exceptionally raunchy storyline from the comic series also happens to be the title of episode 6, “Herogasm,” though it remains to be seen just how this will be adapted on-screen.
In the meantime, brush up on season 2 with our episodic recaps and stay tuned for more news on season 3 of The Boys!
Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon and Zendaya appeared in a video on the official Spider-Man twitter account, where the real title of the upcoming third Spider-Man film has been revealed. The film is titled, Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Holland and co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon had some fun earlier yesterday, releasing three different titles for the film: Spider-Man: Phone Home, Spider-Man: Home-Wrecker and Spider-Man: Home Slice.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to release this Christmas.
HBO has revealed its upcoming 2021 slate of original content, ranging from a variety of new and returning television shows and exclusive films.
First up, HBO is releasing two largely anticipated films. The first is a documentary titled Tina that focuses on the legendary singer Tina Turner that features never-before-seen footage, photos, interviews with Turner, and more. Tina releases on March 27. Watch the official teaser trailer here.
The second film is the Snyder Cut of Justice League. The movie will feature new footage not in the theatrical release of the film. It will release as one long movie rather than episodic sections. The Snyder Cut will drop exclusively on HBO Max on March 18. Watch the trailer here.
HBO also has a slate of original television series on the way that range from docuseries such as the recently released Allen v. Farrow, drama shows including Scenes From a Marriage, thrillers like Mare of Easttown, comedy such as The White Lotus, and more.
Along with their new upcoming shows, several series will return with new seasons. The lineup includes Insecure with its fifth and final season, Succession, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Los Espookys, A Black Lady Sketch Show, Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, Betty, and more.
The series will focus on Loki after he reacquires the Tessaract during the time heist in Avengers: Endgame when Tony Stark loses it in New York City, so the redeemed Loki after the events of Thor: Ragnarok is no more.
Owen Wilson’s character still hasn’t gotten an official name, but it is rumored he’s the Time Variance Authority’s Mr. Mobius M. Mobius. The TVA’s involvement in Loki is no surprise, as they’re the organization in charge of keeping timelines from being altered in the Multiverse, and we know there’s been a ton of that in the MCU recently.
The addition of the TVA to Loki also only furthers that the Multiverse is the MCU’s future, as evidence points to WandaVision already toying with it and the future Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness film set for next year.
Stay tuned for more coverage on Loki and your favorite Marvel Disney+ shows!

Dearest Reader, I am sad to say that you have run out of episodes of Bridgerton to watch on Netflix. However, fear not, for I have the perfect recommendation for you!
For those of you who haven’t yet watched Bridgerton (I highly recommend that you do so now), it tells the story of Daphne Bridgerton and the Duke of Hastings, Simon Basset. They pretend to court one another for their own gains. This, of course, goes terribly wrong when various problems occur, including them genuinely falling in love with each other. The romance is set in the Regency Era in England with stunning sets and costumes and an even more stunning cast.
Is it any wonder that this show has provided the perfect escape for audiences during the pandemic? Bridgerton has become Netflix’s most streamed series to date, having 82 million viewers in its first month. Whilst the series has been renewed for a second season, we do not yet know how long it will be before it graces our screens again.
The perfect way to bridge the gap between seasons is to dive into the fictional world of Bridgerton with the novels written by Julia Quinn. There are plenty of stories to keep you going with eight novels, each featuring a different Bridgerton sibling trying to find love. Here are just five reasons why you should check out these books!
Getting to know the Bridgertons
Netflix
The novels are a great way to get to know the Bridgerton siblings in more depth. Each novel focuses on the storyline of an individual sibling, although the others often appear as background characters. There is nothing like an entire novel devoted to a character to get you to fall in love with them. It is especially helpful to get to know the younger siblings who do not get much screen time in the Netflix series. You are sure to be extra fond of the siblings after reading the novels. Perhaps next series I will even be able to tell the difference between Anthony and Benedict (those two were cast amazingly well as siblings).
2. Readability
Another reason to immerse yourself into the literary world of Bridgerton is because of Julia Quinn’s lovely writing style. Unlike your more traditional Regency Era romances, her writing style is modern and easy to read. The short chapters beg you to read just one more before you put the book down, making them very easy to binge-read. The novels include the witty dialogue we all know and love from the Netflix series and of course the spicy scenes are still there. If that isn’t enough to convince you, just check out the clip below of the Bridgerton cast reading an extract from the first book, The Duke and I.
What would Lady Whistledown say if she heard the esteemed members of the ton reading such things? Watch the @bridgerton cast read from The Duke and I! pic.twitter.com/RIWoxFIOmt
As you may expect from the Netflix series, each book has a happy ending. Each Bridgerton sibling must go through hurdles and misunderstandings in their relationships, but they always find their happily ever after. Isn’t this exactly the kind of story we need right now in the middle of a pandemic?
4. Beyond Happily Ever After
Netflix
However, unlike many romance stories, the story does not cut off with the words “and they lived happily ever after.” Each story features an epilogue that shows us a glimpse into the Bridgertons’ future lives and, of course, they often appear as background characters in future novels as they age and their families expand. If that doesn’t satisfy your knowledge for their future lives, there are even second epilogues! After readers kept asking for more, Julia Quinn wrote a separate book entitled The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After, which gave a glimpse into each of the siblings’ futures. However, more recently published versions of the original eight novels now include these second epilogues so you don’t even need to buy a separate book!
5. Spoilers
Of course, the biggest reason you probably want to read the novels is that, like me, you are too impatient to wait for season 2 and beyond to find out what happens to our beloved characters! Will Anthony stop being so jaded about love? Will Eloise find a life with the independence she craves? Do Penelope and Colin end up together? Will anyone figure out that Penelope is Lady Whistledown? You can find all of this out by reading the books!
Indeed we do, though be forewarned dear reader, should you care to spoil the fun for the rest of the Ton before this author reports of certain happenings you shall have to deal with me. Do keep your secrets…for now. pic.twitter.com/ac717KUmLN
Bonus: by reading the books you may also pick up on some of the Easter eggs that they throw into the Netflix series. You’ll get to find out why bees keep appearing and what the significance is of Anthony mentioning his “lucky mallet” in the final episode.
It is unsurprising that since the Netflix series has debuted, the books have also soared in popularity. Books one, three and four (The Duke and I, The Viscount Who Loved Me and Romancing Mr. Bridgerton) reached the New York Times bestseller list with The Duke and I, reaching number one and remaining there for three weeks running!
Make sure you don’t miss out and get reading this amazing series of novels!
