In a news update from the official Star Wars website this morning, confirmation that Star Wars: Ahsoka will receive a second season has also officially been made as the article mentions Dave Filoni is currently working on development.

Ahsoka premiered in August of 2023 and quickly became a success both with critics and fans of the franchise who were watching the series on Disney+. The series allowed audiences to reconnect with characters that had already been brought into live-action while also bringing several new previously animated characters from Star Wars: Rebels to life including Grand Admiral Thrawn, Sabine Wren, and Ezra Bridger. Not only that, the series also offered a live-action look at the Clone Wars

As much as the newest Star Wars live-action series offered in its first season, it also left plenty open for the next, so a season 2 confirmation will certainly be celebrated by fans of the franchise.

Episodic recaps for the first season of Ahsoka can be found here. Stay tuned for updates on season 2’s development.
