With one simple line Paramount+ can summon every adult who grew up watching Nickelodeon in the 90s: “Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger! Can I take your order?”
The iconic duo of Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell are back to reprise their roles as Dexter Reed and Ed. Good Burger began as a small sketch on All That, it soon grew into a feature film that has now earned a long-awaited sequel, Good Burger 2! Paramount+ released a trailer bursting with nostalgia and announced the sequel will be heading to the streaming service on Wednesday, November 22.
Good Burger 2 follows Dexter Reed (Thompson), as he goes back to his roots at Good Burger to reunite with his old friend Ed (Mitchell). After falling on hard times Ed gladly gives Dexter his old job back and he joins a new crew at the restaurant. The happiness is short-lived when they find out that Good Burger is once again in danger of closing down. The corporation behind the food chain has plans to replace the workers with robots! Will Dexter and Ed be able to save the franchise and their livelihood?
Alongside Kenan and Kel, there is an impressive list of celebrities joining the Good Burger 2 cast! Newcomers to the franchise are Lil Rel Howery, Jillian Bell, Kamaia Fairburn, Alex R. Hibbert, Fabrizio Guido, Elizabeth Hinkler, Emily Hinkler, and Anabel Graetz. The film will also bring back some returning characters and have a few celebrity cameos that audiences are sure to love!
