AEW Collision is set to take place at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio and features two title defenses including a TNT Championship match between Christian Cage and Bryan Danielson, Adam Copeland will speak and the new AEW Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill will also appear on the show. AEW Collision airs Saturday nights at 8 p.m. ET on TNT, check out the action on tonight’s show below.
TNT Championship: Christian Cage (c) vs. Bryan Danielson
Christian Cage will defend the TNT Championship against Bryan Danielson who earned the title shot after defeating Swerve Strickland on AEW Dynamite this past Wednesday. While Cage has Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne on his side Danielson has the Blackpool Combat Club. Adam Copeland is also tied up in this feud with his best friend and will certainly be looming around. Will Cage come out unscathed or will Danielson finally pick up his first title win in AEW since joining the promotion in 2021?
TBS Championship: Kris Statlander (c) vs. Skye Blue
After defeating Emi Sakura on AEW Rampage, Skye Blue earned herself a shot at the TBS Championship currently held by Kris Statlander. Over the past few weeks since getting misted by Julia Hart, Blue has taken on a much darker persona. With Statlander already having defeated some of the strongest women in AEW like Hart, Jade Cargill, Mercedes Martinez, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. and more, will she add Blue to her long list of defeats or will she take a title loss to one of the best up and coming stars in the AEW women’s division?
ROH World TV Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Willie Mack
Samoa Joe will defend the ROH World TV title against one of the independent wrestling scene’s most dominant forces — Willie Mack. Since relaunching on HonorClub, Mack has been an underrated asset. Paired with Carlie Bravo and Shawn Dean to form The Infantry, for his size, Mack can pull off a lot of moves that restrict some of the bigger men. With the 13th title defense on the way tonight, although Joe wants to challenge for the AEW World title soon he’s still out to prove to everyone why he is the king of television. Can he succeed or will Mack declare himself the king?
Brian Cage vs. Komander
This match up is a pure clash of styles between Cage and the AAA World Cruiserweight Champion & one half of the AAA World Tag Team Champions, Komander. Despite that, AEW CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan has made it a point to highlight Luchadores throughout AEW’s near five year history but especially in 2023.
