This Saturday at IMPACT Bound For Glory, IMPACT Knockout “The Baricua Badass” Tasha Steelz will compete in a Knockouts Tag Team Championship match with partner Deonna Purrazzo to take on the current champions MKUltra.
Ahead of the show, Nerds & Beyond had the chance to chat with the former two-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion and former Knockouts World Champion. Steelz talked about wanting to wrestle current Knockouts World Champion Trinity, being part of IMPACT 1000, and getting to work with Purrazzo.
When asked about her surprise return at IMPACT 1000 and what returning at one of the most monumental shows in the company’s history meant to her, Steelz tells us it felt “good” because she wasn’t sure of the direction she wanted to go in. “It was just, ‘go out there and be Tasha Steelz.’ And that’s what I did. I went out there and just [got] a great response from the crowd, especially. It was in New York so I felt like if I wasn’t going to get that love from New York then I just might as well pack it up and go home.”
