Adam Copeland (f.k.a. WWE Hall of Famer Edge) debuted in AEW at this weekend’s AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view.

Copeland wrestled his final match in AEW on the August 18 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, his 25th anniversary. His contract with WWE expired today, October 1, making him the most sought after free agent in professional wrestling. Copeland appeared after the main event which saw Christian defend his TNT Championship against Darby Allin. After Nick Wayne turned on Allin, a brawl began in the ring that saw Sting come to Allin’s aid and Luchasaurus to even the odds for Cage’s side. Still outnumbered, the lights went out and played a vignette of someone driving in a car past an stadium. Soon after, “you think you know him” followed by the opening of “Metalingus” by Alter Bridge started playing. Copeland made his way to the ring and instead of taking sides with his best friend, he joined Allin and Sting.
