Ravensburger Announces Two New ‘Disney Villainous’ Games for 2023

Ravensburger has revealed new plans for its wickedly popular Disney Villainous franchise, including two new games and a first-ever Disney Villainous tournament. The two new additions will include Disney Villainous: Introduction to Evil (Disney 100 Edition) and Disney Villainous: Filled With Fright, which will debut later this year.

The Disney Villainous line takes players on an epic journey to discover who will triumph over the forces of good and evil as they take on the role of one of their favorite Disney villains to achieve their sinister objective.

Disney Villainous: Introduction to Evil (Disney100 Edition)

Now’s your chance to celebrate 100 years of Disney with this limited edition version of the game, which features streamlined gameplay crafted to help first-time players. This version reintroduces four captivating Villains – Maleficent, Captain Hook, Ursula, and Prince John. The limited-edition, Target-exclusive game includes a new box design featuring Ursula, lustrous movers, platinum rainbow-foil packaging, and a Disney100 sticker. Disney Villainous: Introduction to Evil (Disney100 Edition) will be available for pre-order exclusively at Target beginning June 20, 2023.

Disney Villainous: Filled With Fright

Inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas, players will get to play as the film’s notorious Oogie Boogie in an attempt to dethrone Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King. This new edition to the Disney Villainous franchise will be the first single-character expansion in the line and will be available in October 2023, just in time for Halloween.

The fun does not end there! Ravensburger is hosting the first-ever official Disney Villainous tournament later this summer at Gen Con Indy 2023. Interested players should fill out an entry form here. However, seats are limited, so Ravensburger will hold a raffle to choose entrants from those who fill out the form. But make sure you get your’s in quickly; entries close on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 11:59 pm PT.

Let us know in the comments if you will be picking up these new board games for your next family game night!
