Untitled Four-Part Tim Burton Documentary Series To Feature Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Helena Bonham Carter, and More

The incredible career of Tim Burton has been celebrated with a four-part documentary series filmed by Tara Wood, and the untitled project has entered the Cannes market.

Many of Burton’s frequent collaborators and stars are featured in the series including Helena Bonham Carter, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Johnny Depp, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Mia Wasikowska, Christoph Waltz, Christopher Walken, and famed composer Danny Elfman, who also composed the theme for the project.

The documentary is said to contain never-before-seen footage and new interviews with those who have worked with Burton on his films. Burton is currently working on Beetlejuice 2, the sequel to his 1988 sleeper hit starring Ryder and Keaton, who are both set to return. Burton’s vast filmography contains many household names, including Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Batman & Batman Returns, Sleepy Hollow, Netflix’s 2022 Wednesday series, and much more.

Producers on the documentary series are Wood, Joe Clarke and Jake Zortman; with Allen Gilmer and Riki Rushing of Thunderbird Pictures serving as executive producers.
