‘Indiana Jones’ Franchise Coming Soon to Disney+
During its recent upfronts, Lucasfilm announced that the Indiana Jones franchise will be available on Disney+ beginning May 31. 2023.
The release to the streamer arrives just in time for fans to catch up before the fifth film, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, is released in theaters on June 30. The films were previously housed on Paramount+. The franchise follows the many adventures of Indiana Jones as he travels the world fighting Nazis, mystical shamans, and treasure hunters as he attempts to make sure artifacts do not fall into dangerous hands.
The Indiana Jones franchise is led by, Harrison Ford with Karen Allen, John Rhys-Davies, Denholm Elliott, Ke Huy Quan, Sean Connery, Cate Blanchett, and John Hurt appearing in the franchise. Joining the latest adventure are Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Toby Jones, and Antonio Banderas. The latest film is directed and written by James Mangold, with Jez Butterworth, John-Henry Butterworth, and David Koepp penning the script.
