While it feels like awards season has just finished, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and ABC have already announced the schedule for the 96th Annual Oscar Awards.
In a comforting return to normalcy after Covid, the Academy Awards will once again be held on the second Sunday in March. Meaning that the 96th annual awards will take place on March 10, 2024, airing live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
Nominations from the Academy Awards will be announced on January 23, following the shortlist reveal a month earlier on December 21. Additionally, the annual Governors Awards will be held on November 18, and the Sci-Tech Oscars will be handed out on February 23.
