Universal Pictures dropped the final trailer today for its upcoming film Renfield. The film follows R.M Renfield, played by Nicholas Hoult, as he tries to leave his co-dependent relationship with his famous vampire master Dracula, played by Nicholas Cage. Renfield soon finds out that leaving his job as Dracula’s assistant comes with its own challenges and that leaving alive might not be an option.
Alongside Hoult and Cage, Renfield also stars Awkwafina, Ben Schwartz, Shohreh Aghdashloo, and Adrian Martinez. Robert Kirkman developed the original idea, with Ryan Ridley writing the screenplay and Chris McKay directing the film.
