Five Series Regulars Cast in ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’

Today, AMC announced five new series regulars joining Norman Reedus, Clémence Poésy, and Adam Nagaitis in the Daryl Dixon spin-off series.

Anne Charrier will play Genet, Eriq Ebanouey will portray Fallou, Laika Blanc Francard plays Sylvie, Romain Levi plays Codron, and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi plays Laurent. The series takes place in France as Daryl struggles to piece together how and why he washed ashore.

“The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”

If you’re scratching your head about why Daryl is heading to France in the first place, the series finale of The Walking Dead, “Rest In Peace,” sets the scene. Maggie, who is reinstated as Hilltop’s leader, sends Daryl out on a mission. Though no reason is directly stated, with the walkers rapidly changing before our eyes, it’s clear she probably wants to find out why it’s happening now.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond provided even more context when a recording of Dr. Edwin Jenner reveals that the variants of walkers that are popping up in Toledo, Ohio could be because of the Primrose team conference. These new variants can climb, pick up rocks and throw them, open doors, and more.

Stay tuned for updates on The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
