‘The Flash’: Jessica Parker Kennedy, Rick Cosnett, and Matt Letscher to Return for Season 9
The ninth and final season of The Flash has yet to premiere, but it’s already adding a few more familiar faces to an already-impressive guest list! Jessica Parker Kennedy, Rick Cosnett, and Matt Letscher are all slated to return to Central City.
Kennedy returns as Barry and Iris’ future speedster daughter, Nora, who goes by XS for her superhero name. She made her debut during the “Crisis on Earth-X” crossover event. After confessing her identity, she’s made several trips to Central City, whether accidental or on purpose.
Cosnett portrayed CCPD Detective Eddie Thawne in the first season of the superhero series before the character’s tragic death in the season finale but has since reprised his role in seasons 2, 3, and most recently, 8.
Letscher, meanwhile, will be back as The Flash’s greatest foe, Eobard Thawne, also known as Reverse-Flash, because you can’t have the last season without him.
The three join previously announced guest stars and Arrowverse alums Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Keiynan Lonsdale, and Sendhil Ramamurthy.
Season 9 of The Flash premieres this Wednesday, February 8 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW! Check out the rest of our coverage on the Scarlet Speedster here.
