The series finale of New Amsterdam is right around the corner. With its approach, TV Insider has announced that Daniel Dae Kim, who recurred on the show during seasons 2 and 3, will be returning!
Kim’s character, Dr. Cassian Shin, joined the show for a short period of time as the head trauma surgeon, and he left after his romance with Freeman Agyeman’s Helen Sharpe came to an end.
Cassian is there for major surgery with a patient that has a very rare and hard-to-treat disease. The surgery is so complex that many of the other surgeons will have to jump in and help.
