Fans of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights events will be pleased to hear that Universal Parks & Resorts is bringing a permanent year-round horror experience to Las Vegas.

The experience plans to incorporate immersive, continuously updated, horror-based experiences, as well as seasonal events. Universal is well known for its Halloween Horror Nights events that draw from a range of well-known horror films, including Frankenstein, Dracula, The Mummy, and The Wolf Man. They also have a range of more modern horror and suspense movies to draw from, which include collaborations with filmmakers such as Jordan Peele (Nope), Jason Blum (M3GAN), and James Wan (M3GAN).

The new horror experience will be housed in a new 20-acre expansion to Las Vegas’ immersive AREA15 entertainment district. It will include food and beverage spaces and unique merchandise.

“Universal is known for our ability to deliver original, highly-themed and terrifying horror entertainment experiences for millions of fans every year,” said Page Thompson, President, New Ventures, Universal Parks & Resorts. “We are excited to give our global fanbase yet another way to get scared and have fun with fear in the heart of Las Vegas, the perfect place for this type of unique concept.”

We can’t wait to see what thrills Universal comes up with to terrify guests once again. Make sure you check back here for all of the latest updates on this project!
