The Critics Choice Association has announced the television category nominees for the upcoming 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards.
FX’s hit comedy series The Bear has received three nominations:
- Best Comedy Series
- Best Actor in a Comedy Series — Jeremy Allen White
- Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series — Ayo Edebiri
The Bear is a comedy-drama that follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young chef from the fine dining world, who comes home to Chicago to run his family sandwich shop — The Original Beef of Chicagoland — after a heartbreaking death in his family.
The series also stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, and Liza Colón-Zayas, with Edwin Lee Gibson and Matty Matheson in recurring roles.
This impressive, hard-hitting series provides an intimate, unflinching, and consistently entertaining behind-the-scenes look at the realities of running a small business in the restaurant industry.
The first season of The Bear is now streaming on Hulu, and the show has been renewed for a second season.
