20th Century Studios

The Critics Choice Association has announced the television category nominees for the upcoming 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards. Prey, Hulu’s hit continuation of the Predator franchise, received two nominations.

  • Best Movie Made for Television
  • Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television (Amber Midthunder)

Prey serves as an origin story for the Predator, focusing on the coming of age of a young Comanche woman, Naru (Midthunder), as she squares off against the deadly alien. Our review called Midthunder’s performance “star-making” and “a compelling presence who draws your eye every time she appears.”
