‘Fresh’ Starring Sebastian Stan Receives Nomination for Critics Choice Awards

The Critics Choice Association has announced the television category nominees for the upcoming 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards.

Hulu’s Fresh has received a nomination in the Best Movie Made for Television category.

Fresh follows Noa (Daisy Edgar-Jones), who meets the alluring Steve (Sebastian Stan) at a grocery store and — given her frustration with dating apps — takes a chance and gives him her number. After their first date, Noa is smitten and accepts Steve’s invitation to a romantic weekend getaway. Only to find that her new paramour has been hiding some unusual appetites.

The film also stars Jojo T. Gibbs, Charlotte Le Bon, Andrea Bang, and Dayo Okeniyi.

Fresh serves as a impressive directorial debut from Mimi Cave with a script from Lauryn Kahn. Both Stan and Edgar-Jones offer up incredible performances in this intense, twisted, and deliciously dark social thriller. In case you missed it, check out our review here.

Fresh is now streaming on Hulu.
