The Elite and Death Triangle to Face off in Best of Seven Series
The Elite’s long awaited return to reclaim the trios titles may have been short lived, but they’re now getting six more opportunities to prove themselves.
The Full Gear match was part of a “Best of 7” series between Death Triangle and The Elite, one of the most outstanding rivalries in AEW history and all of wrestling. The series will conclude in January at The Forum in Los Angeles, California. The next match will take place at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois on November 23 for AEW Dynamite.
The Elite, who made their triumphant return to the ring after being stripped of the trios titles following All Out, joyfully walked to the ring with Kansas’ “Carry on Wayward Son” blasting throughout the arena.
After multiple successful title defenses, Death Triangle have cemented themselves as deserving champions.
