Interview: Justin Johnson Cortez on the ‘Walker: Independence’ Midseason Finale [EXCLUSIVE]

Justin Johnson Cortez has been winning over audiences as the goodhearted and loveable Apache tracker Calian on The CW’s Walker prequel, Walker: Independence. This week, the show aired its midseason finale, one that was centered around Calian and a trial to determine if he was guilty of killing one of the town’s founding fathers.

I got the chance to talk to Justin all about this episode, how the fan reception has been, and what we can look forward to with Calian and the show once it returns in 2023.
