Chris Jericho Signs Contract Extension With AEW

Legendary wrestler Chris Jericho has signed a three-year contract extension with AEW. Part of the brand since its launch in 2019, Jericho has held the AEW World Championship as AEW’s inaugural champion. He has also helped launch two groups in The Inner Circle and the Jericho Appreciation Society (JAS).

The contract extension will keep him with the company until December 2025. Much like current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, Jericho will also take up additional roles in the company serving as a producer and creative advisor alongside maintaining his role of mentoring young talent.

Jericho is the current Ring of Honor World Champion and will take on Ring of Honor Six-Man Tag Team Champion Dalton Castle on tonight’s special Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite on TBS at 8 p.m. ET.
