‘The Vampire Diaries’ Coming to HBO Max in September

While it was recently reported that the beloved supernatural series The Vampire Diaries will be leaving Netflix in September, the series has officially found a new home on HBO Max, where all eight seasons will be streaming.

HBO Max released their full list of titles coming to the platform for September, with TVD set to debut on the service on the fourth, just a day after it takes its final bow on Netflix.

The Vampire Diaries ran on The CW from 2009-2017 and starred Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Candice King, Kat Graham, Joseph Morgan, and Daniel Gillies. The series spawned two successful spinoffs, The Originals and Legacies, both of which have also ended.

You can still stream TVD on Netflix until next Saturday, September 3. The series will then become available to stream exclusively on HBO Max beginning Sunday, September 4.
