Production is underway on the upcoming fourth season of Prime Video’s The Boys, and while the cast and crew are hard at work creating more diabolical content, showrunner Eric Kripke has shared a treat for eager fans — the title of the first episode.
Based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, Eric Kripke’s The Boys is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes — who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods — abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. Intent on stopping the corrupt superheroes, the Boys, a group of vigilantes, continue their heroic quest to expose the truth about The Seven and Vought — the multibillion-dollar conglomerate that manages the superheroes and covers up their dirty secrets. It’s the seemingly powerless against the super powerful.
The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti.
Gen V, a spin-off series set in The Boys universe about America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes, is currently in production as well. Recently, Supernatural alum Alexander Calvert confirmed that he’ll be appearing in the show.
Seasons 1 through 3 of The Boys are now streaming exclusively on Prime Video. Catch up on all of our series coverage, including episodic recaps, reviews, and more.
