Joseph Quinn has taken the world by storm, skyrocketing from tragically under-recognized actor to practically a household name within the last two months thanks to his breakout performance as Eddie “The Banished” Munson (I refuse to call him the freak!) in Stranger Things. With this exponential rise to fame, Quinn has been met with photoshoots, potential magazine covers, and interviews — most notably, his first late night talk show appearance.

On Monday, July 25, Quinn appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss his role in the series. Fallon always keeps it light and has fun with his guests on The Tonight Show, choosing games or activities for the guests to partake in that often showcase their individual talents. During this episode, Fallon asked Quinn to read part of Eddie Munson’s introductory monologue in various accents — which the actor did in stride. Someone should cast Quinn in a role where he has to put that New Yorker accent to good use — SOON.

In addition to the accent challenge presented to Quinn, we got to see the actor talk about being the “Side Joe” to Stranger Things co-stars Joe Keery and Gaten Matarazzo and how lovely it was to work with them, how it felt to become a rockstar for a night and take on Metallica’s “Master of Puppets,” and finally inviting Fallon to be an honorary member of the Hellfire Club.
