Lionsgate has announced that Peter Dinklage has joined the cast of the highly anticipated prequel The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes! He will play Casca Highbottom, the intimidating dean of the Academy where Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth) is a student. Responsible for creating the Hunger Games, Highbottom exerts control over his students and over Panem.
Dinklage joins a cast led by Blyth and Rachel Zegler alongside a large ensemble. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will hit theaters on November 17, 2023.
