Hunter Schafer (Euphoria) is the latest actress to join the upcoming Hunger Games prequel movie, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

Schafer will play a familiar character to fans of the original trilogy, Tigris — though the fact that she bears the surname Snow as Coriolanus Snow’s cousin was definitely a shock when the book first came out.

The film follows a young Coriolanus Snow before he rose to power as Panem’s President, taking place during the 10th Hunger Games, in which Snow finds himself a mentor.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is set to premiere in theaters on November 17, 2023. As always, stay tuned for more updates.
