‘The Handmaid’s Tale’: Gilead Seeks Revenge in Season 5 Teaser Trailer
Blessed be this day! The season 5 teaser trailer for Hulu’s hit series The Handmaid’s Tale is finally here.
Based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid’s Tale is a dystopian tale set in a totalitarian society known as Gilead, which is located in what was formerly the United States. Following an explosive fourth season, the upcoming fifth season will see June face the consequences of killing Commander Waterford while struggling to redefine her identity and purpose. Meanwhile, the now-widowed Serena attempts to raise her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s influence creeps into Canada. Commander Lawrence works with Aunt Lydia as he tries to reform Gilead and rise in power. June, Luke, and Moira fight Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah.
