Following a concert in Frankfurt on July 8, Paul Carella and the Karen Jonas Band performed a show in Cologne at the Kulturcafé Lichtung on July 9.
Attendees of the Rockwood Music Festival are familiar with Carella’s music, and fans were able to see him play his own songs and covers each Friday on Stageit during the pandemic. Seeing him playing live again songs like “Red Sole Woman,” “Bad Things,” and “Hero” was was a real pleasure.
After a successful tour in the UK, Karen Jonas, Seth Morrissey and Tim Bray came to Frankfurt and Cologne for their first Rockwood event. As an attendee, listening to their songs for the first time live was incredible, and hopefully we will see them again in Germany or at a future Rockwood Music Festival.

Dates for the next Rockwood Music Festival have not yet been announced, but Rockwood Events shared the news that it should take place in 2023.
