The nominees for the 74th annual Emmy Awards were announced today, recognizing achievements in television from June 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022. Although Marvel Studios didn’t bring in any nominations across the major categories this year, the franchise’s Disney+ series received several nods across the artistic and technical categories. Moon Knight leads the charge with a total of eight nominations.

While series lead Oscar Isaac unfortunately wasn’t nominated for his epic performance in the series, he did receive his first Emmy nomination this year for Scenes From a Marriage.

Moon Knight follows Steven Grant (Isaac), a mild-mannered man who lives a mundane life, plagued by blackouts and mysterious memories of a life somehow separate from his own. After one fateful encounter, Steven discovers that he has Dissociative Identity Disorder and shares a body with Marc Spector — a former mercenary and the ruthless avatar of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon and vengeance. With their enemies converging upon them, Steven must learn how to adapt to this revelation and work with Marc. With other godly motives at play, the two must navigate their complex identities amid a deadly battle played out among the powerful gods of Egypt.

All six episodes of Moon Knight are now streaming exclusively on Disney+.

In addition to Moon Knight, Loki, Hawkeye, and What If…? received Emmy nominations as well.

The 74th annual Emmy Awards are set to take place on September 12. However, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards will happen first on September 3-4. An edited presentation will be aired on September 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FXX.
