Halsey Releases New Song “So Good”

The newest single from singer, Halsey, is a pop ballad about yearning. “So Good” focuses on a love you want and can’t have, but has a hopeful ending.

The music videohas also been released, which you can watch below. Screenwriter, director, and Halsey’s partner, Alev Aydin, directed it. The pair have publicly been together since 2021.

This is the singer’s first song they’ve released since the extended version of their 2021 album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power dropped.

“So Good” is coming out after Halsey called out her label, Capitol Records, in a now-deleted TikTok. The singer explained that they needed to make a viral TikTok to be allowed to release her song. Capitol Music Group responded days later. In their statement, they show support of Halsey while expressing that they are an “artist first company.”

She’s currently on the road for her Love and Power Tour. Prior to the tour, she mentioned on her Instagram story that she has a couple of singles that she wanted to drop, so be on the lookout for new music in the future!
