The CW has released a new promo featuring the Tom Swift cast for Pride Month! The CW Spotlight video features Tian Richards, Ashleigh Murray, Marquise Vilsón, Albert Mwangi, and April Parker Jones talking about their personal experiences with Pride and what working on the series has meant to them.

In the clip, Richards discusses the impact being the first gay, Black male lead on a network series has had both on his own life and on his community. He delves into how Tom Swift promotes queer joy, teasing that, “You get to see a full life exist and still be light and fun, and I’m proud to be a part of that.” Vilsón also shares his thoughts on joining the series, adding, “Being a Black, trans masculine person on a show like this, being not just a part of the series regular cast but a part of the leading cast … it’s not something I would have ever imagined seeing on TV. Definitely not on network television, not in this way.”

You can watch the full video below! Tom Swift airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW. You can find the rest of our coverage of the series here!
