He quickly gets up to leave and heads to the scene. Once there, he helps one firefighter get to safety before Steel shows up and tells him to leave.

Once Lois finds out what Jordan’s been up to, she storms into the house angry, to say the least. But with Superman gone and no sign of him coming back, Jordan feels he has to step up. Lois says he still needs to follow her rules but as long as Jordan has powers, he feels he can make his own.

Candice’s Confession

Lois demands Jonathan tell her who is the X-Kryptonite dealer behind all the chaos in Smallville. After promising to keep their identity anonymous, Jon brings the perpetrator in. Identified to them as Candice, she apologizes to Lois for getting Jon in trouble. She tells them everything she knows about where it comes from.

X-K Operation

Sam, Lois, and Jordan find the location that Candice was talking about where the X-K is being dealt. While they ordered Jordan to stay in the car, the Lane’s get a visual of the entire operation. As Lois attempts to call it in, they’re stopped in their tracks.

Waffles and Memories

On the anniversary of her mom’s death, Natalie tries to perfect her waffle recipe to have breakfast with her dad. Frustrated it’s not working, John tells her not to worry and that they’ll be late to help canvas for Lana. Natalie is upset John doesn’t realize the significance of the day but once he does, he makes it up to her. At dinner, he makes her special waffles and they watch old family videos, including Natalie’s birth.

The Fallout

After a talk with her dad, Sarah decides to put herself first and know her worth. Unfortunately, that means breaking up with Jordan. Jordan takes it to hard, as Lois consoles him on their porch. Suddenly, “Jon” appears — but it’s not their world’s Jon. Lois asks where Superman is, and he tells them he was too late. A visual of Superman flashes at the end, and he looks terrified.
