Kristen Stewart Nominated for First Oscar for ‘Spencer’

Kristen Stewart has just grabbed her first Academy Award nomination, for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her role in Spencer.

The film, directed by Pablo Larraín and written by Steven Knight, centers around the story of Princess Diana, played by Stewart. It has been winning awards across multiple film circuits, and fans were hopeful for a nomination for Stewart.

Stewart is known for her roles in Happiest Season, Speak, Panic Room, Camp X-Ray, Still Alice, Charlie’s Angels, and is most notably known for her role as Bella Swan in the highly-popular Twilight series.
