Warning: Major spoiler for Episode 8 is in the description.

The CW has released the description for season 2, episode 8 of Walker, per KSite. The description states that Captain James is shot (!) and in critical condition, therefore making Cordell acting Captain. There’s also the news that Trey has protective detail, which illudes to the fact that somehow Northside probably found out about the connection to him and Micki, thus putting him in danger.

CAPTAIN JAMES IS SHOT – While setting up protective detail on Trey (Jeff Pierre), Captain James (Coby Bell) is shot and left in critical condition. Walker (Jared Padalecki) takes on the role of interim Captain and turns to an unlikely source for help.

Walker returns on January 13 with episode 7, and episode 8 will air on January 20.
