Arizona-based rock band Halocene has released a new original single titled “Warrior State of Mind!”

“Warrior State of Mind” is the latest song from Halocene, released December 10, 2021. It follows the band’s collaboration with fellow artist Lauren Babic on the single “When Demons Come To Life,” dropped back in July, and their Vita Nova EP released in January. While “Warrior State of Mind” was not on that EP, it is the last song to be released off the band’s new album Vita Nova (Deluxe Edition), also released on December 10. The majority of the tracks on the album were previously released, with “Vita Nova,” “When Demons Come To Life,” and “Warrior State of Mind” dropped throughout the past year respectively. Halocene has also released a music video for “Warrior State of Mind,” which features not only the members of the band, but also legendary stuntwoman Caitlin Dechelle, who has worked on well-known projects such as The Mandalorian, Hawkeye, Wonder Woman, and more.

Created in Phoenix, Arizona, Halocene is composed of three dedicated members; Joe Polizzi (drums), and married couple Addie Nicole Amick (vocals) and Bradley Amick (guitar/vocals/producer). Since coming together in 2008, the band has amassed a huge following on YouTube for their exceptional covers, putting their own spin on songs such as Linkin Park’s “Numb,” System of a Down’s “Chop Suey,” Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and more. Opening for bands such as Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, and featured on the Vans Warped Tour, Halocene has long since found their own voice in their original music as well. One hundred percent self-made, all of their music, videos, art, promotion, merchandise and social media are done by the band itself. Halocene also regularly streams on Twitch, taking fan requests to perform live.
